Cherry Whisky Cake

Many years ago, I created this cake for my Scotch loving father, a son of a MacAlpine. It is a white cake with the finest quality pecans, dried apricots, dates, and maraschino cherries laced with Scotch Whisky. Your choice of blended or a single malt whisky, either Highland or Islay. The blended Whisky cake has a rich mellow flavor while the single malt Highland has a sharper, more distinct bite. The Islay Whisky gives the cake a smoky, peaty aroma plus the distinctness of a single malt.

A great cake for a Robert Burns Birthday Party or a tea party.

Blended Whisky Cake 28 oz.

Custom Scotch upon request.

Store the Cherry Whisky Cake in an air tight container up to 3 months. Freezes well up to a year. If the cake becomes too dry, sprinkle with your favorite Scotch.

Loch Lemon Cake

Layers on layers of lemon. This lemon pound cake is flavored with a lemon liqueur and a swirl of lemon curd inside, and then covered with a lemon liquor glaze and candied lemon peel. We recommend that you refrigerate or freeze it until you are ready to eat it.

The Chocolate Bog

This is a chocolate lover's cake. This mocha chocolate pound cake has a touch of brandy and is filled with a rich chocolate fudge center and then topped with a chocolate mocha and brandy glaze. We recommend that you refrigerate or freeze it until you are ready to eat it.

The Nessie Cake

SOMETHING'S HIDING INSIDE! The Nessie is an old world almond pound cake made with almond paste and a touch of brandy and then filled with apricot puree. The Nessie is finished with a luscious almond liquor glaze and slivered almonds. We recommend that you refrigerate or freeze it until you are ready to eat it.

Thistle Cakes

Each one of our large hand stamped shortbread cookies has a Scottish thistle or Celtic knot. They come in a variety of flavors: Brown sugar Shortbread with maple frosting, Dark Chocolate Shortbread with vanilla frosting, and Plain Janes. Tell us how many of each you would like.
